Skilled Nursing
- The Family Health & Rehabilitation Center is staffed twenty-four
hours each day by
professional Registered Nurses. In addition to the RNs, the facility has
Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified
Medication Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants. The center also has
a RN Director of Nursing and RN
Assessment and Quality Assurance staff. The nursing staff, under the direction
of a physician Medical
Director, provide a wide variety of care to residents needing skilled
nursing intervention.

Rehabilitation - Registered Physical Therapists,
Registered Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists
along with Certified Physical and Occupational Therapy Assistants make
up the core of our rehabilitation
team. The therapy department provides a comprehensive set of assessment
and treatment
modalities to maximize each residents recovery.
In-house therapists actively
work so that each resident is able to be as independent as possible. After
an
inpatient stay, residents can choose to continue their therapy through
outpatient services. Centrally located,
the therapy department is convenient to those returning for outpatient
follow up.

Dining
- Each house has an open kitchen, much like what residential homes have
today. Staff can interact
with residents while cooking, allowing for reminiscing, sharing recipes
and even an occasional helping
hand from an interested resident. Imagine a resident sharing a favorite
recipe and the cook working with
that resident to make their favorite dish the next day. Lunch and supper
will be served at set times, but
breakfast will be provided when the resident gets up. Just order when
you are ready! Each kitchen will also
feature an Always Available menu. Residents, family and staff
can order off this menu anytime they
are hungry or just want something different than the main meal choice.
So pull up a chair, ask for a piece
of pie and a cup of coffee and enjoy the day!
Medical Director
- The Medical Director is an integral part of
the Family Health & Rehabilitation Centers
operation. Although each resident may choose their own physician, the
Medical Director is regularly on site supervising
resident care
and directing
staff.
Because of this convenience residents are seen quicker,
and
adjustments are made to their care as they work toward recovery.
The Medical Director also staffs an Accredited Registered Nurse Practitioner
on site to help oversee the
care provided. Together with the facility staff, a comprehensive medical
team is available.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY - The Family Health & Rehabilitation
Center provides admission and services
without regard age, race, color, national origin, religion or handicap.
