The Daisy, Esther, Lulu and Bremer houses were named
after grandparents of some of the owners. Each
house has its own living area, dining room and kitchen. The living area,
located within a short distance of
resident rooms, provides a place to visit, watch television or just relax
by the fireplace. The meals are served
family style in the adjacent dining area. Large windows look out onto
the enclosed courtyard where residents
can enjoy sitting under the porch or walking around the sidewalk to take
in the beautiful landscape.
Resident Rooms -
Although resident rooms are private rooms, each house has provisions
for couples
to share a large room. The rooms all have their own bathrooms fully equipped
with vanity sink, toilet
and large walk-in showers. Heat lamps add warmth, and having a shower
in the room preserves
dignity and privacy.
Most rooms feature a kitchenette at the entry, providing a buffer between
public and private space. The kitchenette gives residents some
extra storage, a refrigerator
for snacks and space for a coffee maker,
microwave or fruit basket.

The rooms are individually heated
and cooledthe resident contols the room temperature with an easy
to use thermostat. Cable TV and Internet access are standard for all rooms.
Plenty of square feet, nine-foot ceilings
and large windows make these rooms spacious. Bring your own furniture
or use ours, we want you to be comfortable.

The four resident houses are separate but connected
so that staff can easily move throughout the
building. Coming to visit? No need to walk long distances through a large
building, just park in front of
the house where your loved one is staying and come right in.
